This week we are starting a Place Value unit for three weeks. We have completed a pre-test and have used this to book into workshops. All learners have access to place value IXL links on the Maths Google Classroom. It would be beneficial to practice these at home.

We have included a new page on the blog for the home learning maths branches. You can access this by clicking the 'maths branches' tab up the top of the blog. Learners will need to see their teachers in the morning before school to be tested on these.

This week are focussing on including paragraphs in our writing. Learners will be able to identify what a paragraph is and use this to include them in our writing.

Thanks to everyone who got back to us about the Optional Ski Trip to Porters Pass. At this stage it looks as if we have enough interest to go ahead. A information letter as well as a permission slip will be sent home over the next few days. Please make sure you read the information carefully as there are some special conditions that you need to be aware of.
If you did not let me know earlier but are still interested in attending, please speak to your child’s whānau teacher or email one of us for information.

This week we are spending time rehearsing for our plays of, 'Chicken Licken'. These are going to be filmed over the next two weeks. On the day of filming learners will need to bring a another t-shirt from home as their school tops will clash with the greenscreen.
